Angie Jordan (of Digital Blacksmiths) has created a screencast demonstration of her digital caricatures that she creates of master artist, Tom Richmond. This was captured with Angie drawing on a 21 inch Wacom Cintiq digital drawing tablet.

The entire caricature design seen here was created in Corel Painter using a Wacom 21-inch Cintiq. She routinely creates caricatures at live events for tradeshow exhibitions. She recently published a book on creating Live Digital Caricatures. Her book has been called the “definative book” on the topic. JephyrX is Jeff Curtis. After seeing all the cool “speed” drawings and paintings here…I decided to try one myself. I used Sketchbook Pro software and a Wacom Intuos tablet. The capture rate was set to 3000 ms (capturing a frame every 3 seconds) with a playback rate of 20 fps. I created the music in Acid, and edited the video using Sony Screenblast.
