Hi there. I know some people have been wondering why I haven’t been making new videos for a while, but I’ve been quite busy with taking a Schoolism course with Jason Seiler. I’m pretty much done now, so I should have time to get back to making videos on a more regular basis. .. But first, I wanted to share some of the work I did from the nine week Schoolism course. I learned so much from the caricature course with Jason. I came in not really knowing how to approach caricature, and I had a real feeling of being lost. But after taking the course I feel I have a much better understanding of how to caricature, and how to exaggerate without losing likeness. I don’t consider myself a great caricature artist now, but I certainly don’t feel the sense of being lost anymore. I feel I’ve improved, and hopefully you’ll be able to see the progress in my work. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve in the field of caricature and learn from a real master caricature artist. I was talking to a freind of mine and telling him how much cooler the cartoons were when I was a kid compared to the cartoons from the 90’s and today. So that and retrojunk.com inspired me to make this video. The criteria for my top 10 is not the quality of the shows but the quality of the opening intro and Theme song. If it was a top cartoons of the 80’s I would have included Robotech, Silverhawks, GI joe you know stuff like that.
